Severe sand blasting can cause canola to exhibit very poor recovery
Management
Sandy surfaced soils are likely to cause damage to canola if climatic conditions are dry and windy. Identifying the at-risk areas and treating them quickly to stop further sand movement and plant damage can reduce the overall yield penalty.
