Group C herbicide damage
Constraint – Group C herbicide damage
Symptoms
- Rapid yellowing begins on the oldest leaves, often with inter-veinal chlorosis
- Leaf death begins at the leaf tip and edges and moves down to the base of the plant
- Roots are not affected
Damage
- The plant either completely recovers, or dies
Control
There is no treatment. It is important to observe withholding periods for these herbicides to avoid damage to following crops.
